Holy paladin

Holy Paladin:
Brings longlasting and powerful healing to the raid.

Raidbuffs:
- Blessing of Wisdom, gives mp5.
- Blessing of Might, gives attack power.
- Blessing of Kings, gives 10% of your total stats. (Must be specced, prot tree)
- Blessing of Light, increases the amount healed by Holy light by 580
and flash of light by 185.
- Blessing of Salvation, decreases the amount threat you generate by 30%,
(NEVER APPLY Blessing of Salvation TO A TANK!)

Stats:

- +Healing, this is always a great stat for Holy Paladins to throw powerful heals.

- Intellect, as a well geared paladin (BT, SWP, MH) you should have
about 11k+ intellect. Intellect also increases our amount of spellpower.
Lovely stat for a Holy Paladin.

- Spirit, spirit is really no need for a paladin. MP5 is better.

- mp5, great stat. More mp5 the longer you will last in a fight.

- SpellCrit, needed stat by paladins! As long as Illumination exist
you as holy paladin should have 20%+ spellcrit.

- Haste, you should cast about 1.4-1.5 seconds flash of light, so about
6% haste is good. Haste can allready be found on the most of your gear,
but back in sunwell this was the stat every single paladin overstacked with.
Tho on this server i dont recommend gemming with haste since the mp5 build
dont work as it should, gem mp5 or go crazy on intellect.

Enchants (These are recommended)

Head - Rep enchant, 35+healing and 7 mp5
(Horde = Thrallmar) (Alliance = Honor Hold)
Shoulders - Scyers/Aldor enchant 22+healing and 6 mp5
Back - Doesnt matter, probly Sublety.
Chest - + 6 all stats
Wrist - + 12 intellect
Hands - + 35 healing
Legs - + 66 healing and + 20 stamina
Feet - Vitality
Mainhand - + 81 healing or + 30 intellect, (Stacking int)
Shield - + 12 intellect

Why all want paladins in raids !

- Buffs ! So always have symobol of kings with you.
- Backup and tankhealing, dont argue with the RL about other.

Personal buffs you should have with you:

Scroll of intellect, Increses the targets intellect by 20
Flask of mighty restoration, increses your manaregen by 25 mp5
Foodbuff.

A Paladin has the highest survivablity in game amongst all
nine classes. His mana pool can be converted through healing
spells into life with a good mana spent/hitpoints healed ratio keeping
him away from death like no other class.

Paladin healing spells/abilities are:

Holy light - (2,5 sec long cast spell, good amount of damage healed)
Flash of Light - (1,5 sec short cast spell, small amount of damage healed)
Lay on Hands - (instant, heals up to paladin full health,long cooldown)
Holy Shock - (talent, instant 12 sec cooldown small amount of
damage healed.
Cleanse - (instant, removes 1 poison, i desiese and 1 magic effect from the target)
Other spells/abilities/talents that affects paladin healing:

Illumination (talent, with 5 points invested all critical heals costs no mana)
Divine favor (talent, cooldown 2 minutes grants a critical effect on
your next holy light or flash of light spell
Spiritual focus (talent, up to 70% to not lose casting time when
you take damage.
Concentration aura
Blessing of light (blessing, increase effect of holy light up to 580
and flash of light up to 185 on blessed target
Healing light (talent holy tree, increases the amount healed by Flash
of Light and Holy Light up to 12%)
Holy power (talent, up to 5% crit on holy spells)

A premise

Our spells have a good heal per second (hps from now on) score and
a good healing/mana ratio but aren't built with a primary healer in mind.
Casting time is high compared to other healing classes (druids and priests)
moreover we don't have group heals or heal over time spells (like renew).
Nevertheless we can do our part on large raids supporting healing and it
is not a rare episode to see a paladin in the top 10 healers. In pvp things
change a lot, our talents and abilities make us the best healer on
battlefield. Our healing spells are still the same but our ability to
heal without interruption (spiritual focus, divine shield, blessing of
protection etc) give us the advantage in battle.
