I made Minerva a guild on a private World of Warcraft server last year for the elite players who spoke English fluently and had enough mentle capacity to get the job done. Successfully I was able to gain a strong 20 members who would play numerous hours a day to achieve my goal in becoming the best guild on world of chris. Together we gain between ourselves a strong friendship and we as a guild achieved things others would of wanted to do hence how we did it and what we didn't have to do it. We didn't have the luxury of donators at the beginning of the guild and neither did we want to use there gear to carry us through raids. We had 2 donators at the beginning of Minerva and that was Harvest and I which I would only use my donator character at a last resort if we needed him otherwise I'd play on my shaman to increase heals.

We started with small things like 15 manning mount hyjal and black temple etc getting more gear and along the way getting more skilled players who had the same mind set as we did. As the guild progressed my drive to be the best increased strictnine the rules and requirements to get into the guild and forcing all raid members to get on vent so they can follow instructions more efficiently.

A month or so pasted and we had progressed a lot. We had gone from farming mount hyjal time after time again to never going back to the place and sticking to tier bosses in black temple. A few weeks later we started going to sunwell where our skill was really shown pushing the benchmark for performance to it's peak not only dps or healer wise but tank wise also. Melbeats did a fantastic job in being the guild main tank for the many months he did. I respect him highly and I consider himself a better tank then I am. Shortly after one after noon we decided to try worlds end. We 1 shot the entire raid excluding god which we 2 shot with fantastic communication and all raid members following instructions to the t which blew my mind away.

We went back to sunwell a week after downing brute and fel myst venturing onto eredar twins which I still to this day want to do both twins on world of chris. After which we tryed our first attempt at mu'ru which we 1 shot getting Melbeats his tanking chest and a new achievement for the guild. We never did kil'jeaden because we didn't have the dps for it but we did try once but it just wasn't going to happen.

I soon after this got myself banned which if you were in Minerva you'd know why. I at the same time started going back to university which made it very difficult to play. I was a key member of the guild which made Minerva fall apart. Things went to hell and I had tones of mail from players asking me to come back with various reasons ranging from the game wasn't fun with fail raids to they just missed me. I gave it a think over not promising people anything but I made a dicision to come back informing everyone that I was in university that my play time is very limited. Everyone ran to Athena at the time excited of my arrival.

I failed to play at all purely because I just didn't have the time. I have made a 6 month certificate into a 3 month certificate and I'll be getting my piece of paper to prove it in the first week of the forth term of this year. I have nothing to say but I'm sorry I wasn't able to lead the guild like I did in Minerva. I'm also sorry I let you all down.

I expect everyone to respect my decision and keep the flame to a minimin, I have put a lot of sleepless nights working on add-ons to doing things on the website.

I won't thank people individual because there are just too many people to go through but you KNOW who you are.

I could not have made Minerva the way it was without any of you for trusting my judgement and following my instructions and respecting me in raids. I know we have had our ups and downs(this being a down moment) but can we agree it was fun while it lasted? Things don't last forever but it was hell of a lot of fun for how long it lasted. I have made so many friends here and It has been a wonderful experience playing with you all.
